Found Poetry/”Junk” Poem

Poetry Friday/”Junk” Poems/Found Poetry
I love garbage, well good-somewhat clean garbage:) If you are a junk journaler, you know! I’ve been junk journaling, upcycled art journaling, for more than five years. The world of ephemera, for me is a creative treasure hunt. Bits of wrappers, boxes, packaging, ticket stubs, fallen apart books and their pages are a joyful invitation into creativity.
This Poetry Friday, I thought I’d share a found poem from a little junk journal. The journal is made from old wrapping paper and many scrappy bits from everyday life found their way onto the page and yes, many of them destined for the trash:)
Happy Poetry Friday! Check out all the beautiful inspiration from this week’s host, Cathy Stenquist: @https://www.cathystenquist.com/post/happy-mother-s-day, as well as, other wonderful Poetry Friday poets linked in her post.

Oh my goodness, Jill, I love that we have junk journals in common! Kind of like quilts, they just make HAPPY. 🙂 🙂 Thank you for sharing (and I will send you some pics via email!) xo
Jill, your collages are inspiring. I too have a lot of junk and ephemera I collect for junk journals. I don’t do it often enough, so your posts are inspiring me again. Love, love the found poem and flower surrounding it. “Magic / delicately / filling the garden air” Yes, please.
