POETRY FRIDAY ROUND UP LINKS:
Welcome Poetry Campers! I’ve been posting a lot about zines lately, so I thought I’d provide a tutorial and an invitation today. If you’re feeling a creative summer camp vibe, I hope you’ll check out this “Folding a Zine,” video and make one. Perhaps, zines may be the next version of putting a poem in your pocket!
Zines (pronounced Zeens) are portable mini books and, in my opinion, a perfect poetry container. Here are some examples of my recent poetry zines. Hope you’re enjoying your summer and check out the poetic inspiration from the Poetry Friday community. I will be posting links through out the day.
Please post your Poetry Friday link in the comments and I will post them here the DIY way:)
Happy Poetry Friday to all! Jill

Hi, Jill! Thanks for hosting, and thanks for the zine tutorial. Fun!
I missed PF last week, so I’m happy to be back this week, sharing some Rudy Francisco magic.
The post is here. Off to check out your video!
Thanks Karen and your PF is posted!
Zines are so fun! Thanks for the invite. I will do my best! My Poetry Friday post is here: https://theoppositeofindifferencecom.wordpress.com/2026/07/16/salutations/ Thanks for hosting!
Thanks Tabatha and your PF link is posted!
Hi Jill I’m a big fan of Zines, making them and I’ve also taught workshops on them. If I had some extra time I’d definitely make another. Thanks for hosting us! Here’s my post touching on the Endangered Species Act, and a bit on the Mary Oliver documentary:
Jill, I am thrilled that you shared your creativity with us. I have been thinking about making a zine so your video is just what I needed. Summer Camp with you is a treat. My blog post is and extension of last week’s Poetry Friday post that did not come out until Saturday morning. This week I am happy to say that I am on time. I never know when life gets in my way of creativity.
